Mangalore felicitate ‘World Tai Chi & Qigong Day’

Mangalore, Karnakata, India – April 26, 2014 – Mangalore felicitate the international event ‘World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day’ in cooperation with Lions Club Mangalore.

On the occasion of the event, the chief guest Dr. G.K.Hebbar, Hebbar ENT Solution centre and Sri Radhakrishna Shetty gave HWCI ( Haruka Wushu Culture Institute) anexcellent speech with kindful blessings.

This event has got kindly support of Lions Club Mangalore also, Lion President – Lion Prof. Ronald Mascarenhas, Lion Secretary – Lion Rajesh M. Kamath and Lioness President – Lion Bharathi Pushparajan participated the event as the guests also.

Besides, this event tried to connect the internet live connection with one of Wushu class in Japan: HCWC(Hokkaido Chinese Wushu Culb). Director of HCWC, Mr. Masashi Ishiyama gave a great message to the participants in Mangalore. As it happens, this April 26TH is his birthday also, it became double celebration for all of us.

In other, three Wushu people who are the coach in their each own district from Tamil Nadu came running to Mangalore to participate this event. This should be greatful also.

Ms.Haruka Ito, Founder & Technical Director of HWCI(Haruka Wushu Culture Institute) showed off a demonstration performance of 24-style(forms) Tai Chi(Taijiquan). 24-style Tai Chi set routine is the most popular and spreading set routine in the world.

The slow motion & graceful performance made the people’s image with martial arts would be changed. The participants could have an experience that Tai Chi has the beautiful artistic attractive factors, which brings the people much impressive feeling.

Haruka Ito wants to promote this art, great Chinese heritage culture for Mangalorean as a beautiful art sport, discipline younger generation’s healthy growth and for the lifelong learning for the people of all ages. She wants to dedicate her coaching for the people in Mangalore through teaching this ASIAN culture, in order to share the joy of learning.

The small trial workshop of a few basic motion was performed also, the participants could feel the fact of ‘Tai Chi is for all, Tai Chi is universal’.

Her athlete career is more than 20 years, she was Gold Medalist of Hong Kong International Wushu Festival, All Japan Wushu Taijiquan Championships, All Japan Wushu Taijiquan Tournament, Osaka Wushu Taijiquan Championships. The number of Medals: 16 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze. Hobbies: Wushu, International Travelling, Reading Books, Learning Foreign Lanuages(English, Mandarein Chinese, Cantonese etc).
