A Japanese tourist in India [2]

Still now, most of Japanese tourists in India is just a backpackers. Another a tiny part of tourists are just package tour users. Many countries almost any people misunderstand as ‘All Japanese are rich’, but the percentage of billionaire(Above Rs 5 Crore level) is only 0.2% against the total population, rich people ratio(Above Rs 50 lacs level) is only 1% against total population, i.e. 99% people do not belong to real Rich category……
And, more than 30% must be in relative poor category……this is the true thing actually……

Then, Japanese backpackers in India come from the above 99% category. The followings are my personal stereotype image with Japanese backpackers in India.
Why we select Asian countries as our destination is, ‘saving the travel cost is possible’ is the reason. If we have enough financial margin or if we were rich, we must select another rich countries as our destination……
“Oh, this foreigner is rich, so he/she came to my country” is not so correct actually……

2. They prefer to stay at budget hotel or cheap lodge, basically below Rs1,000 per night is definitely preferable, below Rs300-500 per night is the ideal. In case of Rs300 lodge, the people say it’s the course of ‘Practitioner of austerities’ among Japanese backpackers community. I’ve read about this word on a few books about Japanese backpackers, this is the true information which I’ve read.
They want to spend the time of trip as long as possible by the lowest budget, it must be one of the reason.
I also try to find out the low price budget lodge in other countries. Because I can not afford to pay for good star hotels.

1. They prefer the cheapest flight like Air Asia. Honestly speaking, me also.
They are crazy about booking by the cheapest price, me also. Otherwise, we can not afford to purchase the ticket.
